Our Signature Concrete Log Siding System
Old Kentucky Logs offers a complete concrete log siding system designed to recreate the rich character of historic, hand-hewn log cabins with the unmatched strength of lightweight concrete. Every piece in our product line is molded from genuine 150-year-old Appalachian logs, capturing the deep grain, unique axe marks, and antique charm of real wood while eliminating the maintenance that traditional log homes require.
Homeowners and builders across the country choose our system because it installs over nearly any surface-OSB, plywood, brick, block, or concrete-and delivers a durable, fire-resistant, insect-proof exterior that stands strong for generations. Whether you’re building a new cabin or transforming an existing structure, our product line gives you all the tools to create a timeless log-home aesthetic.
Flat Logs
Our flat concrete logs are the heart of the Old Kentucky Logs system. Each log is hand-poured using molds taken directly from 150-year-old reclaimed Appalachian timber. The result is a siding panel with remarkable authenticity-down to every ridge, grain line, and hand-hewn tool mark.
These logs install easily with metal lath and Type S mortar, creating a permanent, maintenance-free exterior that looks exactly like historic wood. Once installed and stained, even trained craftsmen often can’t tell the difference.
